I have a B.F.A. from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. My interest in printmaking began there. I have taken a number of relief printmaking classes and workshops because that is where my interest lies. Relief printmaking is a basic technique, but has many applications and this makes it fascinating. My work consists of linocuts, wood block prints, multi-block prints, and white line relief. This is a rich experience, both visual and tactile.
For 10 consecutive years my work has been juried into the Washington area printmakers Original Print Calendar. I am a member of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society, the Washington Print Club, Washington Project for the Arts, and the Workhouse at Lorton, Virginia.
In 2011 I joined Printmakers Inc. at the Torpedo Factory and the George Mason Printmaking Guild.
