Three of my white line reliefs, "Pond," (below, middle) "Irish," (below, right) and “Morning Glory” (below, left) are in the Creede Arts Council 14th Annual National Small Print Show. "Morning Glory" was also chosen as one of the 30 prints selected for the traveling show.
Curator Arlene Ameel says, “Every spring those of us who unpack the prints have the same reaction – excitement and anticipation. This year we were thrilled with the prints we received.”
Judge Stephen Quiller says, “It is my honor and pleasure to be the juror for this show. As opposed to most exhibitions, this is one that the viewer must take a close look and have an intimate interaction with the art work. The show has some great examples of all the major printmaking processes: intaglio, lithography, relief and serigraphy. There are also monotypes that combine painting with printmaking.
