A carved, contour drawing, painted with watercolors. After the paint dries, a damp paper is overlaid and passed through a printing press. The watercolor transfers to the damp paper and the carved lines emboss, creating a color print from a single block.
In May, I will be
the featured artist (along with scratchboard artist Tuula Ross) in the exhibit "Positively Negative," showing in
the Workhouse's Building 5. A reception will be held on May 8, from 6 to 9 PM.
I hope to see you there!
(Here's the postcard I'm sending out for the event.)
